As the NASCAR Champions Week makes its return to Las Vegas starting today, stock-car racing fans will have many opportunities to see their favorite drivers in person at events around the valley. Here is a day-by-day schedule of TUESDAY – FRIDAY (Dec. 3-6, 2013):
There will be the NASCAR Pit Stop Tour each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with show cars at the Tropicana, The Palazzo, Harrah’s, Coca-Cola store, M&M’s World and the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign.
On TUESDAY (Dec. 3, 2013), the Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson appears on NASCAR Live from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Wynn Las Vegas sports book.
On WEDNESDAY (Dec. 4, 2013), a Fan-fest presented by Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will be at the Fremont Street Experience at 1:30 p.m. The 13 Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers will appear on a red carpet and onstage.
On THURSDAY (Dec. 5, 2013), the NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Awards Luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Encore Ballroom at Wynn Las Vegas. Several team and individual awards will be given out.
Also, the NASCAR Victory Lap will take place from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Strip. The Chase drivers will start and finish the parade in front of the Miracle Mile Shops.
Then its NASCAR After-the-Lap taking place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Resort on W. Flamingo Road. Drivers get to show their personal side to the fans.
And, on FRIDAY (Dec. 6, 2013), the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards at 5 p.m. at Wynn Las Vegas. It will include a NASCAR Fan Reception and Red Carpet Walk.
